The Empire never died. It’s simply shape-shifted, with the manufactured appearance of valiance and righteousness. For all of its self-proclaimed warm & fuzzy PR, the U.S. of A. is not really a humanitarian oasis and shining beacon of liberty; it does not represent a genuine portrait of upstanding global citizenship. If we can be candid with ourselves about our own direct experiences as well as by way of the learned reporting from those braver than ourselves who look unflinchingly at history and the present, we know this to be true.

Read it and ask yourself How can we be proud Americans professing ‘Freedom’ when inconvenient facts indicate a clear contradiction?
